  • I approach teaching by understanding the student and the surroundings. I want to learn what they are interested in learning and how I can connect with them on their level. I enjoy working with students who have their own aspirations in their work; my goal is to help them with my skills and experience. When I’m working in collaboration with other teachers, it is important that we share a common goal for the subject at hand; I approach the subject with a teachable spirit and a curious mind. It is vital that we share the curiosity to explore the lessons with open minds.

  • I have spent over 20 years playing voice lessons and auditions for musical theatre ranging from broadway musicals to high school classrooms. I work well with 1:1 students who are looking to learn more about how to approach musical theatre repertoire. I also work with choirs, pit orchestras and speak to groups about my career path in the arts. I am very passionate and excited to connect with students and fellow educators who share a love of music and performing
