Born and raised in Philadelphia, I began playing trumpet in 4th grade and pursued music education, inspired by Mr. Simon. With a Bachelor's from Mansfield University and advanced studies at Vandercook and UArts, I taught music for 35 years. Now retired, I mentor young teachers, play professionally, and enjoy traveling.

Melynda Morrone is a music educator and aspiring curriculum supervisor in Southern New Jersey. She has taught at Whitehall Elementary School and Swansboro High School, achieving leadership roles and honors. Melynda co-created "Mini Musicians" classes and holds degrees in Music Education and School Leadership. She enjoys family time, nature walks, and singing.

Suyá, a visionary composer from Salvador, Brazil, crafts music that transcends traditional norms. Blending analog and digital sounds, her immersive performances captivate audiences. With a unique approach born from childhood experimentation, she mentors young creatives and inspires transformation through her music and teaching.
Erin Zaffini
Dr. Erin Zaffini (DMA) is the Director of Teacher Education for Longy’s Master of Music Education programs and faculty at the University of New Hampshire. She specializes in music education for students with disabilities, and is an active clinician and consultant. Dr. Zaffini has published extensively and received multiple teaching awards.
Elektra Schmidt
Award-winning pianist Elektra Schmidt performs solo and in chamber groups in the US, France, Greece, and the UK. She has played with the Santa Rosa Symphony and Golden Gate Symphony. Founder of Artist Migration, Elektra curates festivals in Europe and San Francisco and has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Daryl Silberman
Ms. Daryl Silberman is a professional violinist/violist, an orchestra director at Scullen Middle School in Naperville, IL, and a director for the Youth Symphony of DuPage. “Ms. S” studied viola performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and University of Southern California and teaches with her 5-string violin. She has been a private studio teacher, high school orchestra director, youth orchestra director and freelance violist and violinist in Illinois, Oregon, and California performing with regional orchestras, rock bands, movie studio orchestras, chamber groups, and baroque ensembles.
Kelsey Ann Folmar
Kelsey Folmar is a band director at Van Hoosen Middle School in metro-Detroit, specializing in oboe and instrumental education. With a Master's degree in Conducting and Music Education from American Band College and a Bachelor's from Central Michigan University, she is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and trauma-informed practices in the classroom.
