  • I find and create curriculum based on the individual and usually with notes from the current lesson. I hate books that are a general guide to music, as they are dull, boring, and largely meaningless. I teach my students, "Here is a paradiddle. Now never play it again." I love to teach dance, djing, drums, production, and anything else the student or fellow is truly engaged in learning. My favorite is when they soar and impress me, practicing with natural talent, surpassing my wildest expectations. Sometimes there is a magic that is created which results in screaming, weeping, or simply getting into a groove that causes such reactions from someone else. Otherwise, what's the point? Creation is the key. If you are not creating, you are learning what others have already done. You are a shining star in some capacity. Life has hidden that light from yourself and from others. It is my goal, challenge, and accomplishment to let that light burst out into the magnificent unbelievable part of the universe you were meant to be. "We are the music makers. We are the dreamers of dreams".
